The Hollywood actor is currently filming the sci-fi sequel in Manhattan along with co-stars Tommy Lee Jones and Josh Brolin. Smith spends his free time on set in a huge double-decker mobile home, which has been parked in the city's SoHo district as he shoots scenes for the upcoming blockbuster. The trailer is set over two floors and features a cinema, a lounge bar, offices, a meeting room, a full-sized kitchen, as well as a large bedroom and bathroom, and measures a massive 53 feet (16 metres) in length. Smith also has another trailer on site which houses his full-sized gym. The sizable structure has infuriated residents in the neighbourhood, who claim the trailer is causing disruption. Myrna Reisman, 62, who lives close to where the trailer has been parked, tells the New York Post, "It's ridiculous! I've lived here 26 years, and I've never seen anything this size. This thing is like a duplex. How would Will Smith feel if I parked that thing out in front of his house? People forget this is a residential neighborhood, not a film lot." Another neighbour, Brigette Moreno, 22, adds, "It looks bigger than my apartment! The smell that comes along with it is disgusting. It's like living in a gas station. I really like Will Smith, but I would be embarrassed if that was my trailer. A little modesty goes a long way." City officials have confirmed cops are working with the production team to ensure parking restrictions are not violated by the crew's vehicles, with Julianne Cho, an associate commissioner of the Mayor's Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting, insisting no rules have been broken.
