1675 ca , FRANCE : Anna MARIA MANCINI ( 1639 – 1715 ) aka Marie Mancini . Portrait from XIX century from the german boook " Die Maitressenwirthschaft in Frankreich unter Ludwig XIV " . Was a niece of Cardinal Mazarin chief minister of France . She was the fourth of the five famous Mancini sisters who along with two of their female Martinozzi cousins were known at the court of King Louis XIV of France as the Mazarinettes . She was born in Rome , Italy , to Baron Lorenzo Mancini and Girolama Mazzarini . Maria was the lover of King Louis XIV Roi Soleil of France but married in 1661 the italian Prince Lorenzo Onofrio I Colonna Duca di Paliano ( 1637 – 1689 ), the marriage was unlucky but born 3 sons: Filippo II Colonna (1663 - 1714), Marcantonio Colonna ( 1664 – 1715) and Cardinale Carlo Colonna ( 1665 - 1739). On may 1672, fearing that her husband would kill her, Mancini left Rome accompanied by her sister Hortense Mancini.
