This engine has a new architecture that aims to improve fuel efficiency and reduce friction. It has a lightweight engine block with an aluminum ladder to reduce noise and vibration. The crankshaft is offset by 10 mm to reduce friction and wear. The engine also has a new belt-in-oil system to drive the cams and an intake system that balances air between cylinders. Ford Focus Active The Focus Active X is a crossover version of the Ford Focus with a rugged, outdoor feel. It has a fine-tuned suspension for challenging surfaces and weather conditions. The Focus Active X also has an outdoor body kit with black-finish bumpers, roof rails, side cladding, and wheel arch moldings. The interior has contrast blue stitching on the seat trims and dashboard, and a light Crema headliner.
