A royal banquet was held at the palace in Cairo, on March 1, 1938, in honour of the present Egyptian Royal family. Young King Farouk and his beautiful Queen, Farida, attended the banquet and appeared to enjoy themselves thoroughly. Other distinguished members of the family took part.
