The third dialogue between the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the world kicked off in Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality on Thursday (13 October 2016), which experts said will enable other countries to better understand the CPC's outlook on global governance. The CPC in Dialogue with the World 2016, to be held between Thursday and Saturday, has attracted more than 300 participants, including some 200 overseas party leaders, senior officials, scholars and entrepreneurs, the Chongqing Evening News reported on Thursday. Under the theme of "innovation in global economic governance: initiatives and actions of political parties, " China will further elucidate its proposals on reforming the world order at the Dialogue, such as the Belt and Road initiative, Wang Wen, executive dean of the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China who is attending the Dialogue, told the Global Times on Thursday. As the US-dominated global economic order has recently been criticized, the world is trying to understand and accept the "outlook on global governance" of the second-largest economy, Wang said. "China's outlook will make the world order more progressive, " he noted. According to the agenda, parallel workshops on win-win cooperation under the Belt and Road initiative, role of China and Europe in global governance and Chinese proposals on global governance will be held on Friday.
