Cork, Ireland, 27th March 2022. Cork City Fire Brigade Deals with Yet Another Large Gorse Fire in the Glen Park, Cork, Ireland. Aerial photo of members of the Cork City Fire Brigade dealing with another large gorse fire in the Glen River Park which runs between the Glen and Ballyvolane. Shortly after 6 pm this evening Cork City Fire Brigade attended the scene of a large gorse fire in the Glen River Park, this is the third time in the past week in the same area of the park, this time the fire burned large parts of the valley along the entrance of the park. A large number of firefighters could be seen attending the fire trying o get it under control and dampen it down to stop its spread. These fires see many members of the service to be taken away from their regular services to deal with them. Credit: Damian Coleman
