Wars & Sawa and Junior is the oldest Warsaw shopping mall, build between 1962 and 1970s, the communist era designed by the architect Zbigniew Karpiński and also known as the Commercial Trade Centrum Gallery Complex on the Eastern Wall in the central Warsaw district of Śròdmieście. The name Wars & Sawa derived from folk etymology - the same as the city name WARSZAWA - a fisherman Wars and his wife Sawa. The shopping complex have been continuously modernised and presently is managed by DTC Real Estate group of companies. Rotunda – means rounded building, sometimes also called a "general's cap" due to its zigzag top, its a characteristic and historic Warsaw landmark build in 1960-1969 and the various individual elements were designed by many architects overseen by Zbigniew Karpiński.
