Altre informazioni:
Langde Shang Miao Village located on the Danjiang River in the Leigong Mountains south of Kaili is the home of a Chinese ethnic minority Miao tribe. It has a nice wind and rain bridge crossing the river. It is the home of the Long Skirted Miao who live in wooden houses on stilts. Visitors to the village walk up a hill on a long stone walkway stopping at twelve stops to drink rice wine at each stop, called the 'block the way' ceremony. The village men entertain visitors with ensemble music played on Lushengs, which are an ancient reed-type wind instrument made of different lenghts of bamboo tubes. At the center of the village is a drum ground and Lusheng ground made of stone cobbles built in the pattern of ancient bronze drum surface with twelve rays of blue-brown cobbles stretching to twelve directions, symbolizing the twelve rays of lights. This is where singing and dancing take place by women in traditional attire, accompanied by the men playing Lushengs.
