Camillo Prampolini (Reggio Emilia, April 27, 1859 - Milan, 30 July 1930) was an Italian socialist politician.Lawyer and journalist, symbolic figure of reformist socialism, contributed to the development of the cooperative movement in his city and carried out intense union activity. In 1886 he founded the magazine La Justice, which he directed until its abolition in 1925. The Italian Workers' Congress, held in Milan on 2 and 3 August 1892, it was decided to base the periodic class struggle. Journal of Italian workers, born July 30, 1892, and was formally directed by Prampolini, but in fact by Filippo Turati and Anna Kuliscioff. Collaborated with the magazine and the official organ of the Socialist Tuscan Martinella. Also in 1892 he was among the founders of the Party of Italian Workers, who in 1895 assumed the name of the Italian Socialist Party, which always represented the gradualist wing. In 1922, with Filippo Turati and Giacomo Matteotti, he founded the United Socialist Party (PSU). With the advent of the Fascist regime was forced to retire from political life.
