The house Terrades or de les Punxes is a building designed by the modernist architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch. The house was built in 1905 by order of sisters Terrades wanted to unify three properties owned. Puig designed a medieval looking building, with elements reminiscent of European Gothic. One feature of this building is its six towers, topped by individual conical needles, which gave the popular name of the house of spikes. For the construction of the brick facade was used. This can be some decorative panels; one of these, which appears in St. George, has written the following legend "Patron Saint of Catalonia, return us freedom." The decor stone floral patterned tribunes and balconies is entirely modernist. The roof is twofold.
