The volcano Cayambe seen at sunset from North Quito. The snow-covered mountain reflects peach colored light. Two mountain ranges can be seen in the foresground with low lying clouds at their base. The sky is three quarters of the photo and shows many different kinds of clouds with those lowest in the sky appearing light to dark gray and approaching Cayambe from the west. The highest clouds are bright peach, pink, and golden yellow. The small amount of visible sky is light baby blue. The entire scene is peaceful, almost angelic, in nature.
