Marking the 50th anniversary of assassination of President John F Kennedy in Dallas in 1963, Robert Kennedy's son, Robert F. Kennedy Jr and his sister Rory were interviewed in front of over 1500 Dallas residents at the Winspear Opera House on January 11, 2013. This was the first time any Kennedy family member had made any public appearance in Dallas since the death of President Kennedy. Hosted by Charlie Rose Robert F. Kennedy, who was 9 years old in 1962, told how it was a very hard blow to his father, and he had the Justice Department check phone records of Oswald and night-club owner Jack Ruby, who killed Oswald two days after the assassination and discovering they "were like an inventory" of mafia leaders his father and the Kennedy administration had been investigating. Kennedy remembers how his father, "publicly supported the Warren Commission Report, but privately he was dismissive of it." (Press given permission to photograph first 5-minutes)
