Chubb & Sons Lock & Safe Company Ltd., Railway Street, Wolverhampton, 1913. The works of Chubb & Sons Lock & Safe Company Ltd. on the site of the former Workhouse on the corner of Mill Street and Horseley Fields (now Railway Street). Chubbs were master lock makers for royalty and the Bank of England. The area in front is the goods yard operated by Carver's Builders' Merchants. Stacked up bricks, slates, chimney pots and tipper closets (behind the cart on the right) can be seen The gentleman in the centre is Mr. Childs who sold salt from his cart.
