A mother of three who came home to find her step-father dead nine months before her biological dad passed away has now spent £10, 000 on a giant bucket list drawn up in their memory. Emma Stewart Rigby wrote down a list of 246 things to do before she dies and has already achieved 109 of them in just two years. The 34-year-old, from West Sussex, says she is determined to live out the exciting life they were robbed of. In April 2010 she was devastated when she left her step-dad Graham, 64, digging up the garden and later returned home from a shopping trip to find he had died sitting in his chair. Just nine months later Emma also lost her biological father Nicholas, 61, who died in a hospice. In 2012 alone Emma has bungee jumped, visited Thailand, floated weightlessly in an isolation tank, rode on an elephant, held a monkey, gone hydro-zorbing in London, eaten insects, attended a music festival, and gone wacky racing. 'I miss them both terribly, ' she said. The combination of losing the two most important people in her life spurred her into action. 'I’d booked a sky dive before my Dad died to raise money for the hospice that cared for him, but he never lived to see me take the plunge. 'It was such an exhilarating experience - I asked the instructor to throw me around in the air a bit on the way down! 'Then after the jump, I saw an advert at the diving centre for a wing walk. I’d always wanted to do it, and with the inheritance money from dad I knew I could afford it, so I booked it. Emma is illustrated here doing another wing walk, this time in front of an audience at an airshow. The aircraft is a Boeing Stearman operated by Aerobatic Tactics
