Altre informazioni:
The lock chamber beside the weir barriers in Sydhavnen (South Harbour) in the port of Copenhagen, Denmark. (The port of Copenhagen is basically one long main channel with several canals, dividing the island Amager from the rest of Copenhagen). Though not quite permitted and dangerous, small crafts can sail through the system in the far end of the barrier to left of the lock where some of the openings are left without weirs. Varying rapids can make the access difficult. The lock is the only official access to the Sydhavnen (South Harbour) in the port of Copenhagen. The lock chamber is about 11m wide and 53m long, so the lock is nearly only used by leisure boats and operations of the lock can vary. Any bigger vessels will enter through the official two northern harbour entrances, Kronløbet and Lynetteløbet. Have a look at the barrier at CXRBBF f.inst. Note the old lock keepers house in yellow and red.
