Early in the morning a boat passing through two devotee's doing some rituals to pay homage to "Goddess Ganga" at Varanasi Ghat Varanasi is the second oldest city in the world, situated at the bank of holy river Ganges in Uttar Pradesh, India. It is also known as “The city of Light” by Hindus. Varanasi is one of the seven Sacred Cities of Hinduism. It is famous for its Ghats (steps along the river) which are populated round the year with people coming up with intention of holy dip. Thousands of Hindus come here to die in the hope of breaking out of the cycle of karma and rebirth. It has amazing capacity to attract travellers both Indians and foreigners. People come here to study Sanskrit and Hindu culture. Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi is home to the Vishwanath Jyotirling Temple, which is one of the most sacred of Hindu Temples. Varanasi is famous for its silk brocades, sarees and brass handicraft.
