Mama’s Fish House Restaurant. Ho’okipa Beach Park. Maui. Famous Mamas Fish House with palms and beach in Maui Hawaii. Definitely the best restaurant in Maui. It is a little bit of a drive, but worth every second! It's nestled right along a beach with gorgeous palm trees and lighting outside, which creates an incredibly romantic and intimate ambiance. Service is friendly from the moment you walk in the door. Very Hawaiian, very lovely. Kitschy tiki decor adorned with scrawled celebriatti photos, "screaming" fresh fish advertised with the name of the supposed fisherman who caught them or at least the dude who bankrolled the junket, disinterested service from brahs who'd rather be surfing, offensive NYC prices, and a mercurial kitchen, which is adept at raw such as poke and sashimi but surprisingly incompetent at cooking fish - so dry! *gasp* pass the water.
