Altre informazioni:
Former local authority housing stock in Farnworth, Bolton. These houses are part of the 'Flower Estate' Built in the late 1920s and 1930s much of this housing stock was sold to sitting tenants under the Margaret Thatcher led "Right to buy" scheme in the 1980s, though some still remain under local public ownership. This is an example of the larger three-bedroomed house which included two large downstairs living areas. However the kitchen, as it was originally designed, was very small room by comparison. In this example the large front garden, itself an innovation for low cost housing, has been paved over to provide parking space for multiple vehicles, an increasingly common practice.
