Aberdeen Airport is the third largest airport in Scotland, and one of the UK's top 10 by number of flights The airport is located in Dyce, approximately 5 nautical miles (9 km) northwest of Aberdeen city centre. 3.16 million passengers used Aberdeen Airport in 2006, which was an increase of 10.9% on figures for the previous year.
