Vietnam Friendship Village is a center created at the initiative of George Mizo, a veteran American war veterans funded by the US, France, Japan, Germany and Britain. The Vietnam War ended decades ago. Currently the Asian country has recovered economically from that tragedy and is one of the countries with the strongest economy in Asia. Meantime, memories of the war have become a tourist attraction. But today, thousands of victims of the Agent Orange and explosives that remain in the fields, continue to suffer the terrible consequences of conflict.
