Vantage bus arriving at the Manchester to Leigh guided busway stop at Hough Lane, Tyldsely. The 7km long guided busway combines with 6km of bus lanes on the East Lancashire Road and city centre bus lanes to form The Leigh-Salford-Manchester Bus Rapid Transit scheme. The buses are operated by First Greater Manchester, branded Vantage. The route opened for public use in April 2016. The buses are Volvo B5LH hybrid electric/diesel with Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 bodies. Confusingly Tyldsely lies in the borders of the Metropolitan Borough of Wigan, but has a Greater Manchester postcode M29.
