Altre informazioni:
It is an old temple complex dating back to the 11th century with a new Buddhist temple placed within its Laterite walls. The new temple is brightly coloured and uses parts of the old structure for support. Much of the old structure is original with a variety of beautiful apsaras, differing in appearance from those at Angkor. Left of the complex are two smaller temples facing each other. One holds a reclining Buddha and the other a host of Buddha statues as well as one white cement statue of a woman who managed to survive the Khmer rouge, fled Cambodia and funded the temple’s construction. Behind the main temple bullet holes can still be seen in various palm trees. The original killing field lies in this area between Phnom Proh and Phnom Sray.
