Villa del Prado, Madrid, Spain - June 14, 2014: Interior of gothic church of Santiago Apostol. Cover of the apse are impressive dragons that decorate the nerves of the 15th century, while in the vault the reasons are retained with figures of angels, Saints and virgins of the 17TH century. The ship stands Ashlar decoration and paintings of floral motifs of the 18th century in the side of the shrines. The altarpiece of the high altar is dedicated to Santiago Apostle under whose patronage is the Church, referring to the aid which, according to legend, lent to the Spaniards during the wars of the reconquista. It has two bodies with images of San Antonio de Padua and San Diego de Alcala the Tabernacle in the middle. It was built in 1706 by Jose Machin, architect of the city of Toledo.
