Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger during a news conference at the Football Association headquarters in central London, following the quashing of his 12 match touchline ban by an independent three-man commission of FA councillors. The commission cleared him of the charge of threatening behaviour but found him guilty of a catch-all charge of misconduct. Instead of the touchline ban Wenger was reprimanded and fined 10, 000. Wenger will have to pay the costs of the appeal board which sat to hear his case in the re-hearing. The Frenchman was charged under new FA punishment guidelines with alleged threatening behaviour and physical intimidation to fourth official Paul Taylor after the London team' 1-0 defeat at Sunderland on the opening day of the season.
