On a cruise to Iceland we stopped in Cobh souther Ireland where we hired a car and visited Blarney Castle, home of the famous Blarney Stone. The gardens have changed dramatically over the years as we had visited this site some 26 years previously. The site is extremely popular with the tourists had to line up for some time before we could visit the castle itself. These two photos shows different views within the castle grounds, one shooting up a tower and the other of a garden wall. Both built of stone and covered in vegetation and both magical in the sense that they inspire ones imagination. Well worth the visit.
