33-year-old Genakuli Mahamat, left, from Xinjiang, takes specialty of her hometown to see her ''father'' Li Zhongyi which helped her back to her home after being lost in Chengdu 21 years ago (1996) as they reunite under the help of local media at Li Zhongyi's home in Chengdu city, southwest China's Sichuan province, 31 August 2017. 33-year-old Genakuli Mahamat from Xinjiang reunited with her adoptive father Li Zhongyi which once adopted her for two years in Chengdu. During summer holiday in 1996, 12-year-old Genakuli Mahamat lost her way while shopping with her cousin on Chengdu's street, then lost connections with her family. Luckily, she met Li Zhongyi, a warmhearted man which not only adopted her but also helped to look for her family. Finally in April 1999, Li Zhongyi sent Genakuli Mahamat back to her home in Aksu prefecture, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. However, these two families lost connections due to house moves.
