Cw 7556 Busy time at Crabtree Lane canal bridge 17.4.2021 The canal swing bridge at Crabtree Lane on the Leeds and Liverpool canal is getting busy. Following the latest easing of Corona virus lock down rules people are now allowed to stay overnight on their boats even if it is not their permanent residence and with the lovely sunny weather the canals are getting busier. Here two boats, a narrow boat and a wide beam one are about to pass through the swing bridge at Crabtree Lane while on the right hand side the local trip boat operated by Lancashire Canal cruises is ready to pick up the next people for a trip down the canal. The swing bridge carries Crabtree Lane over the waters of the Leeds and Liverpool canal near Burscough.
