Chinese workers put caged male giant panda Xing Hui into a bigger cage before sending it along with female panda Hao Hao to Belgium at the Dujiangyan base of the China Conservation and Research Centre for the Giant Panda in Dujiangyan city, southwest Chinas Sichuan province, 22 February 2014. A pair of giant pandas departed China for Belgium on Saturday (22 February 2014), on lease from their breeding center in Sichuan Province. Hundreds of people attended a ceremony on Saturday morning to see the two pandas off, at the China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Pandas. They are bound for a research program at Belgiums Pairi Daiza Zoo. Hao Hao, the female, and Xing Hui, the male, are both four years old and will stay in Belgium for the next 15 years, as announced during the visit of Belgian Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo to China in September.
