Michael Kilbey is a singer-songwriter from a sleepy village in Hertfordshire, a few miles north of London, England. First appearing on the BBC Introducing Stage at Glastonbury as co-writer with The Franks at the raw age of 18, he has since written over 40 songs as a solo artist. Building on the success of home-produced debut single Indigo, his first professional recordings were the product of an entirely supporter-funded campaign. The aptly titled I Was Waiting EP was released in October 2017. Between them, the two records have inspired a huge online following, amassing to-date over 125, 000 followers on Twitter and an impassioned international support-base, which regularly travels to England to attend shows. Now, fresh off the back of October's sold-out EP launch in Kings Cross, an appearance on the main stage On Blackheath as the panel's winner of the annual competition, and a stint supporting Steven Page of the Barenaked Ladies, Michael Kilbey returns to London on Friday April 6th, 2018 to play his biggest headline date yet. With tickets already sold to guests from 7 different countries - as far afield as Canada and the US - and an ever-growing armoury of dark, romantic, indie-rock anthems, the concert will showcase the very best of his work, giving exclusive insight into his forthcoming debut album.
