Cw 6555 Middleton Street Amble Middleton Street in Amble. Amble is a small town on the north east coast of Northumberland in North East England. It was a former mining and fishing town, with most of the signs of the mining having disappeared though there is still a small fishing fleet that works out of the harbour. The housing in the town of Amble is made up of older stone buildings, quite a few in terraces, old miners and fisherman’s homes and new builds which continues to this day as the town expands.
