. Scientific American Volume 92 Number 11 (March 1905). er Co., AKRON, OMIO, Signed by thePresident Do you realize that a trade mark registered under theold law is almost worthless ; that you can sue an infringeronly if he has infringed in foreign commerce, or in com-merce with the Indian tribes? Do you realize that the law under which your mark isregistered does not protect you from infringement ininterstate commerce ? Re-register your trade mark under the new law, whichhas been signed by the President and which goes intoeffect April i, 1905. Protection will thus be secured for trade marks usednot only in foreign commerce and trade with the Indiantribes, but in interstate commerce as well. Non-technical trade marks that could not be registeredunder the old law are now registrable under the new law, provided that they have been used for ten years. Write for a booklet giving full information about thenew law. Re-register your old trade mark. The fees are low. MUNN & COMPANY. 361 Broadway. New York March 18, 1905. Scientific American. 233.
