PEGG PLUGS 'SHAUN OF THE DEAD' GOOD LEGO WINCHESTER CAMPAIGN A Lego fan who built a recreation the 'Shaun of the Dead' Winchester pub has achieved the 10, 000 number of supporters required to be considered for official Lego product, thanks to internet buzz . . . and a plug or two from the film's star Simon Pegg. The movie's eponymous hero pledged his support for the campaign to get Lego enthusiast Yatkuu's unofficial Shaun of the Dead set manufactured during an appearance on The Conan O'Brien Show and on Twitter. Yatkuu, real name Greg Coquelz, has now reached the magical 10, 000 mark of votes on the Lego Cuusoo website for the project to move from 'Idea' to 'Review' stage. It will now be adjudicated by the 'Lego Jury' comprising: designers, product managers, and other key team members. A Lego announcement stated: "The review is a thorough process that will take several weeks. When finished, we make a 'go/no go' decision to develop and sell the Winchester. "In our previous message, we noted that due to the themes behind Shaun of the Dead, there would need to be some significant internal discussion for us to agree to produce this as a product.
