A big yawn. Dudley, UK: STUNNING IMAGES show Joao the tiger up close as he laughs at the camera. One image shows the tiger curling up its lips into a menacing smile. Joao is a Sumatran Tiger who is 11 years old. He has lived at Dudley Zoo since 2013 and shares his enclosure with Daseep, another Sumatran tiger. These images were captured by James Poole (26), aka Jays Captures, at Dudley Zoo in the West Midlands, UK using a Nikon D5600 camera. ?The portrait of Joao smiling at the camera was all down to tracking his movements through the enclosure. The face he pulled was him ?scenting? the area, ? said James. ?The face portrait of Joao staring down the camera felt like my soul was being looking into. ?The Yawning shot was a moment of luck, I happened to be in the right place at the right time and with a big lens I was able to capture the moment. ?Joao looking on sideways with the light entering from the right of the shot was all down to a perfect sunny day, Joao was majestically looking around keeping an eye on Daseep. mediadrumimages/@jays.captures
