British Airways announced that from 5 May 2014 its new Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft would operate on flights between Chengdu and London. The frequency of flights between these cities will increase from three to five per week from 5 May, providing more choice for customers in China. Passengers in any cabin can take advantage of hundreds of innovations, from much larger windows to enjoy the views of the horizon to the latest in-flight entertainment system and ambient lighting. The 787 is also a quieter, lighter and more fuel-efficient aircraft, which minimises the impact on the environment as well as making the flight more pleasurable.
