A visitor tries out VR anti-terrorism training equipment during the 6th China (Beijing) International Exhibition and Symposium on Police Equipment Anti-Terrorism Technology and Equipment (CIPATE 2017) in Beijing, China, 19 May 2017. A biennial exhibition featuring police equipment and anti-terrorism technology has opened in Beijing, with dozens of exhibitors presenting cutting-edge technology and equipment for police and the military. The China (Beijing) International Exhibition on Police Equipment and Anti-Terrorism Technology and Equipment (CIPATE) is jointly organized by the China Association for Science and Technology and Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau. It has been held every two years since May 2005. Many military and police vehicles manufacturers parked their vehicles outside the exhibition hall. Beijing Anlong Group's explosion-proof armored vehicle, stationed right at the entrance, was the subject of much attention. The Ford Motor-adapted armored vehicle can hold up to 10 officers, and its tank-like armor makes it virtually unstoppable in urban areas.
